CASA NUTRIR IS A TECHNOLOGY TO FIGHT CHILD MALNUTRITION AT THE COMMUNITY BASE
Of every 10 children in Mozambique, 4 have chronic, moderate to severe malnutrition. It is on this margin that we operate.
Unlike other food programs, Casa Nutrir not only feeds but also works with the nutritional deficiencies that children are having, starting during pregnancy until the second year of life, where it is crucial for this child to become a healthy child , full of life and a smart citizen in your nation.
It is a nutritional education and recovery program , where we embrace children up to 2 years of age where a team of health professionals takes action to recover this child.
Within the community, this child is identified and we register him in the program and then the steps begin:
Work with families
Development Deficit Analysis
Nutritional Education
standardization of care
Proper nutrition along with vitamin and mineral supplementation
Meetings to deal with the hygiene and health of this child so that she does not become malnourished again
Affection work with this child
Until the child leaves the malnutrition condition, our team will be with him in the follow -up , the result we already know, dignity to life in the first child, resigning the value of the child.
Casa Nutrir is already successful in several countries around the world, its recovery rate for children exceeds 85% .
